About the Club

A 5-week outdoor recreational soccer program for children born between 2018 and 2021. The program is held at the Trumansburg Middle School on Saturday mornings, during May & June. This is an informal program designed to introduce soccer to new players, teach basic soccer technique at age-appropriate levels, and, mostly, to have fun. Coaching is conducted by experienced coaches, parent volunteers and upper level club players and is appropriate for these age groups. The emphasis of this program is on fun. “Success” is based on a player’s desire to return week after week, year after year. All players are required to wear cleats or sneakers, shin guards and weather-appropriate clothing.

2026 Spring Travel Soccer

The Spring Broome County Soccer Association League provides a competitive soccer opportunity for all players born 2007-2018. Teams are created to meet the interests and needs of members. Rosters are limited, so early registration is essential.

Games are played on weekends from late April through the end of June. This is a travel program; away games can be as far away as Oneonta (2 hours), but usually are within an hour of Trumansburg. Home games are typically played in Trumansburg on the Trumansburg CSD fields. There are 8 games during a season, usually played on weekends– 4 are home and 4 are away.

Practices start late April and are held on school grounds. They are generally two nights a week, running between 1 and 2 hours.

Fees incurred include a league registration fee, referee fees and team jersey. Players receive a jersey when they begin with TSC and can trade it in for a larger size as needed for no additional cost. Teams may have the opportunity to participate in tournaments as well, in which case, tournament fees would be additional and participation is optional. Fees are $170/player for each of our travel seasons.

Players born in 2018 or later need coach permission to register and participate. A coach may recommend a two week "try-out" to determine if the player is ready for travel soccer.
